Oracle Training

Lunafreya's training to become Oracle was intensive. She learned to fight with a spear, ran, swam, and meditated. She had to visit statues of previous Oracles, a call back to the King gaining the power of his ancestors but she does not see hers, as well as singing and dancing. The more difficult tasks were being left alone and fasting for days at a time. Lunafreya absolutely was left alone in the wilderness with not much given to her.

This is also when she was more firmly instructed in the history and lore of the world. From her mother, she received what was the most commonly understood aspects of being Oracle and what power that position holds in the world. This includes the existence of the Oracle being the key to holding back the darkness of the world. Should the Oracle perish, light will also be extinguished. From Gentiana, Shiva, Lunafreya learns about the history of the Astrals much more intimately, including the position of Bahamut above them and the relationship between Ifrit and Shiva. Some important notes are Solheim and the War of Astrals.
