Well, I do tend to take my memories rapid fire, so perhaps I'm not the right person to ask that.

As for your second question, depends on how you define "interest." Do I believe Absinthe's a piece of shit, who definitely deserves some sort of punishment? Yeah. Would I be involved in this particular plot if I weren't asked?

So, what is your deal with Levity? Assuming you coulda told him his name and skipped the whole amnesia name bit.

He was one of my dearest friends. To whom I would seek when I needed council and who could always see through me when I lied to myself. And yes I could have but yet I did hesitate.

I can only imagine how disorienting it is being here without one's memories. It must feel incredibly overwhelming. Thus I decided that perhaps it would be best if he did not have to acclimate to this place and my unrealistic expectations at once. The memories will come in time. I also did not want to force upon him a bond that was not of his choosing. It would grow again if it was meant to.

Besides, if he truly desires to know, he will push. Rarely have I been able to deny his wishes. And I have been watching him afar to ensure he is well supported.

It's such a hands off approach.

Though, my trajectory here woulda been different if everyone took the approach you're taking.

Don't get me wrong. I don't find you a prime example of mankind, but rather one I can understand and predict.

... Masterclass backhanded compliment there, I guess. Though, I do think the "understand and predict" bit's the thing that'll bite you in the ass.

It has and it has not. One can no be so rigid in their scheming after all. No plan goes unchanged against unrelenting reality. Nor man and his indomitable spirit.

But am I wrong in that you will fiercely protect those whom you care about regardless of most moral quandaries?
