[there was a pow-wow, supplies were not mentioned! quietly considering Alexander while watching Jason tie him up]
[eventually, sight and conscious will return for Alexander, but definitely not freedom of movement. also, two of them will be on guard with him at any given point]
[That is an uncomfortable way to wake up even though he has a knack for napping just about anywhere. It takes him two or three times to realize that it is bindings that are causing him to be unable to reach up to touch the back of his head.
He gives the bonds one sharp tug before quickly giving up. He sighs instead.]
Must you?
[Give him a moment to figure out how many 'yous' there are.]
Absinthe is not your ordinary quarry. He is calculating and patient and rarely driven by outbursts. Twice I can count when I've seen him truly upset. Not only that, but you have the complications of this place. Injuries to my person can be fixed, and death is hardly permanent. They hinder motivation.
Threatening one's existence to the casino or the graying disease would provide more credibility.
Then again he might just take your bait because he is bored.
You may believe that you know him well, and you two are certainly intimate. However, I know him far better than you do. —I am his successor with due reason. I do not require your counsel.
Why do you do this, Glacies? To keep everyone safe? To prove you are righteous?
We both know you will find some manner of 'crime' for which you will undoubtedly condemn him. But what would you do if you find your own methods more heinous than what he has done?
This is why I have chosen this very path. For if he is innocent, no one will be hurt. And if he is guilty, he will know that he cannot continue.
I have taken this stand for myself, but I hope it will give him some courage. Noctis is not Somnus, nor am I Aera or Ardyn. We can write a new history by knowing the truth of the past, and freeing ourselves from the bonds that gods place upon us. —We can all be free.
You feeble, frail, and foolish creature. At least the half-men can't help being what they are.
You know his history better than I. A man who watched his love die before him, whose own brother whom he loved dearly betrayed him, imprisoned him. And then when oblivion was his goal even that was denied to him.
And now, now, when he is finally beginning to trust again you would use that against him. Drive home that love is a weakness to be exploited. As if that would not scar him worse.
You know nothing of Ardyn Lucis Caelum. Nor how to help him.
In this instance, it is not Ardyn that requires aid. I have given him boundless compassion and concern, but there are others who also deserve such care.
Re: Day ???
[Jason seems like the kind of guy who brings rope, so he looks pointedly at him.]

[he sighs.
seriously, is he the only one prepared for this.]

Yes. I would not have asked for their help without being able to assure their safety to some degree.

The rest can wait. I know better than to rest upon my laurels.

However, waiting might be in your best interest.

Do I get to know the reason for this scheme or am I meant to be surprised?
