Lunafreya sings in order to draw the Hydraean out, waking it from its slumber. Leviathan is upset at being awoken, questioning the actions of a mortal for daring to interrupt its slumber. Enduring the threats and dangers, Lunafreya states that it is the time for the Hydraean to fulfill its duty and serve the King of Kings in order to purge the star from darkness. Eventually, Lunafreya is fed up with Leviathan's bullshit and reprimands her with the power loaned from Bahamut. The covenant is forged with the understanding that Leviathan will devour and destroy all of humanity if the king does not prove himself worthy. In the background, imperial airships begin to circle in on the city.
