[this is actually-- interesting. he pulls back and shrugs off his jacket first-- it's easy enough. and then his gloves, and the bindings that were under them.

when the bindings are gone, the scars on his right arm are more obvious-- a distinct line on both sides of his forearm.

but he doesn't pause, and pulls his shirt off in one smooth motion, tossing that aside.

and now the scars all over his torso are much more obvious. there's the deep red scars on his chest and shoulder that are very obviously new. but there are many faded scars-- most notably burn scars.

but he doesn't linger away from her for long, leaning back over her]

[she watches as the damage upon damage is unveiled before her, then wrapping her arms around one of his and faintly pressing a kiss to the freshest, most violent looking scar before turning to him for another kiss on the lips]

[there's a bit of softness in his look, and he kisses her back briefly, and his fingers go back to her nightgown.]

[she cups his cheek but shifting to help with removing her nightgown, prepared now for when someone else sees her bloom of black ink radiating out from a clean, definitive scar]

[he notices that immediately-- and, well. it does explain why she's weak there. His hand trails over her scar-- gently, watching her reaction to it.]

[her eyebrows knit, unconsciously digging nails into his shoulder before forcing herself to let go, but her breath comes in unsteady]

[and he leans down to kiss her again, gentle, hand bypassing that, and moving to cup her breats]

[he can recognize what that may have come from... given their conversation. but he can respect that there are secrets she would want to keep.

instinctively, he slides a knee up between her legs, and deepens the kiss, this time a sense of hunger and neediness starting to show in his movements]

his skin is getting warmer, despite the paleness, and he does have to catch his breath a few times as he kisses her]
